Brief: Create a collaborative brand for the 2026 BU BFA Thesis show that encapsulates the entire class.

Solution: We brainstormed a list of descriptors that we wanted to emulate with our design choices: Collaborative, community, authentic, creative, stress-bonded, fun/silly, and diverse. The form language is an homage to Boston University landmarks such as the T tracks, the BU Bridge, and the acronym itself.

︎ INITIAL BRANDING/MOODBOARD

Moving from this into the finalized branding, we pared down the use of Comba for legibility and gave the form language more symbolic meaning.

︎ FIRST DRAFT

This draft was more illustrative and less content-focused, with the details of the exhibit included on the back. Moving forward, I wanted to incorporate the crucial information into the design.

︎ “Senior spotlight” Instagram posts
For these posts, I kept the design minimal to showcase the work of each student.
