Brief: Create a poster series on something both with an “I love” and an “I hate” iteration.
Solution: I chose the topic of memory, mostly drawing on childhood photos and emotionally significant items for both.
For the “I hate” version, I wanted to convey the melancholic and bittersweet nature of memory through white space and selectively minimal layering.
I wanted the “I love” version to feel brighter and more overwhelming.
I further iterated on the concept with risograph postcards I sold at Multiple Fairs 2025.
