BOSTON PICTURE HOUSE
Brief: Create a cohesive poster series for a film series at the Boston Picture House showcasing films that blend unique visuals, imaginative worlds, and complex storytelling. This typography studio assignment was mainly focused on type choices and composition.
Solution: The challenge lay in the matter that these five movies have few similarities either in plot or aesthetic. I decided to take signature motifs from each movie and give them the same image treatment.The one commonality I drew on was the dynamicism of each film. I wanted the typography to feel like it was ever moving and shifting around on each poster.
